Shipping and Delivery Policy
Welcome to Vedayatra! Our goal is to ensure your shopping experience with us is seamless, and your selected products reach you in the best condition and within the promised time frame. Here’s everything you need to know about how we ship and deliver your order.
Order Processing and Dispatch
- We will start working on your order as soon as you place it. Usually, we pack and send it within 2 working days. Please note that working days exclude Sundays and public holidays.
- Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking details. Please allow some time for the courier service to update the tracking information.
How Long Will Delivery Take?
- For orders within Karnataka, delivery usually takes 5 to 6 working days from the dispatch date.
- Delivery outside Karnataka may take a bit longer, typically up to 10 business days.
Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges are shown at checkout based on the product’s size, weight, and location.
- We offer free shipping on prepaid orders over ₹1999. If your order is below this amount or you choose cash on delivery (COD), shipping charges will apply.
- An additional ₹39 will be added to your total for COD orders as a handling charge. Please note that COD is not applicable for orders above ₹5000.
Tracking Your Order
- Upon dispatch, a tracking number will be provided via email or SMS. You can track your order using this tracking number on our courier partner’s website. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to be updated.
Custom Orders and Delays
- For bulk orders, please allow an additional 5-7 working days for processing before dispatch. We will notify you in case there are any delays.
- If there are any delays due to weather, strikes, or other unexpected reasons, we will email and SMS you the new expected delivery time.
Incorrect Address Information
- Please provide us with the correct address when placing your order. If you have entered incorrect information, please contact us immediately at Accounts@vedayatra.in.
- If your package is returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete address details, you can have it resent with extra shipping charges applied.
Failed Delivery Attempts
- Our courier partners will attempt delivery twice. If delivery is unsuccessful, the package will be returned to us. A refund will be processed for prepaid orders after deducting applicable shipping charges.
Cancellation and Modifications
- Your satisfaction is our priority at Vedayatra. However, we may need to cancel the order if we encounter issues such as product unavailability, pricing errors, or other unexpected circumstances. We will promptly notify you and ensure a full refund is processed within 5-7 business days to provide a hassle-free experience.
- If you wish to cancel or modify your order, please contact us within 12 hours of placing it. Modifications after this timeframe may not be possible if the order has already been dispatched.
